WHO WE ARE

RE(SOURCE) is an early-stage startup based in NY. It is backed by some of the top institutional VCs and angels in the B2B marketplace and cross-border commerce sector.

RE(SOURCE) is a differentiated and growing SaaS-enabled marketplace. Focused on transforming how fashion production works, RE(SOURCE) is building the simplest supply chain solution for emergent fashion brands. Think of UBER EAT but for fashion production - RE(SOURCE) does not own any fabric, sample rooms or manufacturers, it builds tools and a scalable marketplace to enable small-batch, short lead-time and quality production.

The marketplace has seen a MOM growth rate of 93% since its inception last December, with a retention rate of over 95%. The future of fashion will be decentralized by multiple emergent players who value sustainability, speed and seamlessness, and we are building the infrastructure to enable them. Both founders are from China and attended Duke for undergraduate. We also have two-decade long family businesses in China in the apparel manufacturing space serving big clients like TopShop.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced 3D apparel designers to help us run pilot programs with brands to incorporate 3D design in our workflow to cut down the sampling time and improve our supply chain efficiency. We currently require tech pack from brands and work with our sample rooms in China to develop the samples.

Ideally we want someone to communicate with brands and finalize a 3D tech pack design, then directly passing on to the sample rooms in our network in China. Ideally the designer speaks both English and Chinese.

Requirement

  • At least 3 years of 3D apparel design experience
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese speaking and writing
  • Very familiar with Browzwear or CLO3D

Problems we're solving from a technical standpoint

We are working to solve specific problems in the digitization of the fashion supply chain and to make it more transparent and agile. For example, we build systems that help simplify workflows and dependencies from multiple stakeholders and that provide statistical insights as feedback. We build automated asynchronous pipelines that speed up and replace traditional multiway communications.

This will be a contractor position paid by hour with possibility of becoming a full-time hire.
