General Summary;

Seeking an Account Executive for a branded handbag line with a minimum of 3-5 years of Handbag sales experience with major off-price retailers like Ross, TJ MAXX, TJX, Burlington. This person will need to have relationships or have worked with them.

Major Responsibilities;

  • Will work closely with accounts to create assortments based on selling history and current market trends.
  • Interface with production, design and customer service teams
  • Identify buyers needs and communicate to merchandising and design team
  • Drive business through identifying key business opportunities with accounts
  • Analyze weekly retail selling
  • Works closely with internal teams to negotiate pricing and delivery
  • Knowledge of market, fashion trends and business environment
  • Manage buyer requests and sample process from pre-production through delivery
  • Planning and accountability for monthly and yearly projections by division and category
  • Facilitation of orders through confirmation process

Preferred Education, and/or Experiences;

  • Occassional travel necessary
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook
  • Product Development is a plus
