Overview: Isaac Morris LTD. is seeking to expand it's YOUNG MENS AND JUNIORS DESIGN dept.  Full-time design position for Both experience/junior and assistant level position. Job description for both junior level and assistant level listed below:  Designer Partner with the Creative Directors daily to ensure alignment on all design process from sampling to bulk production Create seasonal trend boards, color, trims, photograph new bodies/silhouettes on form, etc. Daily communication with the internal cross-functional design, tech and production teams  Provide cost sheets and size M specs to send to the production and tech team - this includes purchasing all store-bought/online samples  Create detailed vector sketches, specs, and tech packs for sampling & bulk production - purchasing all necessary pantone & CSI color standards to send to the factory Provide the head of production with sample request recap linesheets and approval forms Prepare DTG samples for send out (time-to-time basis) Review all fit samples from concept to completion - spec all samples from 1st fit to the PP sample stage, reviewing measurements, execution, fabric/trim quality, color, art placement, etc. Review paper pattern art size & placement for all size ranges (XS-3XL), trims, lab dips, strike offs and hang tag labels for bulk production Create fabric swatch cards and send samples to buyers/licensors for the Sales teams who are not physically in the office   Assistant Designer: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Photograph production sized art on samples for the Creative Directors to review  Photograph incoming development samples and send to the licensing team for review  Assist in reviewing strike off approvals & lab dips Fill out sample tags for fit/photo samples and send out packages to buyers Participate in research, seasonal color & fabric direction  Assist in CAD sketches, cost sheets & development/production tech packs Maintain an organized work design area, show room and storage closet Qualifications & Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university 1-3 years direct experience Experience in Retail or Design Internships required Proficiency in MAC, MS office, Excel & Adobe Design programs Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically Strong organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs, multi-task and prioritize responsibilities Resourceful, hands-on and able to sense urgency
