Job description


As an important member of the Digital Apparel team, the Technical Designer will support the department as it relates to 3D, patterns, PLM System, and other future technologies.

Works collaboratively with teams to deliver digital requests on time, with the quality and quantity required. Laser focused on detail and drives consistency across a variety of diverse global Apparel categories. Embraces innovation, new ways of working, and continuous learning.


- Responsible for making accurate digital interpretations of designs while maintaining fit consistency and construction standards.

- Participate in design reviews and fittings as needed to support the digital needs.

- Validate 3D images against photography to calibrate for accuracy.

- Track, monitor, and evaluate digital requests flowing in and out from cross functional teams and factories. Ensure Brand consistency in visual quality standards, fit and construction across all styles.

- Enhance, refine, and maintain all digital libraries for the technical design group.

- Participate in research, trends, and new technologies in the industry.

- Bachelor's degree in Clothing & Textiles or related major, plus a minimum of 2+ years' experience in Apparel technical design. At least 1 year experience in the application of 3D digital product creation in an apparel environment.

- Proficient using 3D software such as, Browzwear or Clo.

- Solid understanding of patternmaking, basic construction, and sewing techniques

- Familiar with Apparel Development and manufacturing process.

- Clear and effective written and verbal communication

- Ability and willingness to travel globally

- Systems Knowledge: CLO and/or Browzwear, Gerber Accumark, PLM System, Illustrator, PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
