The Role

Reporting to the Creative Manager, this role is responsible for contributing to creative strategy, concepts, direction and overseeing the execution of creative assets to ensure a synonymous campaign and brand expression. This role is integral in working with the Creative Manager to develop content from concept including shoot pre and post-production, through to overseeing the final channel assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • In response to Marketing Strategy, Design Briefs and Range Presentations, work with the Creative Manager to interpret key seasonal themes and commercial needs and contribute to campaign concepts and ideas that deliver on season, brand and commercial goals.
  • Work with seasonal concepts and how these will be expressed across various channels and collaborate with Marketing Managers, VM & Digital to discuss execution opportunities to deliver compelling creative that translates consumer propositions into meaningful, on-brand creative solutions.
  • Determine content needs from Marketing & Channel Activity Plans for paid, owned & earned channels (e.g.: web site, email, paid digital, traditional media, organic social) and develop content plans to determine shoots required and content sources for all planned activity across the campaign period.
  • Present content plans and shoot plans to relevant stakeholders such as Marketing Managers, Digital Team, Creative Team pre-shoot for approval to ensure all content & commercial requirements will be met for all channel activity.
  • Identify and ensure synergy between shoots from web site, campaign, social and still life so content can be used across multiple channels.
  • Work with Creative Manager on the pre and post production of campaign and content shoots. Assist in the coordination of shoots
  • Attend and support the art direction of brand shoots.
  • Support in managing the creative & content shoot budget, ensuring all expenditure meets the specified allocations.
  • Manage pre & post production timelines and delivery of content for stills and video, ensuring deadlines are met including approvals and handover of assets.
  • Collaborate with Graphic Designers & Copywriters to develop campaign assets, meeting weekly reviews and stakeholder deadlines.
  • Work with the e-comm team and senior stylist to develop brand & seasonal look and feel for e-commerce photography.
  • Work with the Creative Manager to act as a guardian of the Mimco brand delivering on our brand expression across all creative & content.

Profile

The Ideal Candidate has

  • Experience in developing creative concepts
  • Proven experience in fashion art direction and talent shoots, still life
  • Ability to understand the importance of building a brands visual language.
  • Ability to drive innovation and creativity across all touchpoints
  • Have an awareness of global and market trends and drive innovation across all communication channels
  • Be across trends in content and innovations on all channels
  • Work within set budgets and timeframes
  • Ability to plan creative content across all channels to ensure key strategic objectives are met
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Digital asset art direction e.g.: web site, apps, paid & organic digital marketing
