This team actualizes the voice the of the brand at retail by obsessing the details and evolving the physical elements across all customer touch points from macro architecture to the always on brand experiences within the store! We deliver both the art and science of Nike Retail throughout Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA).


Nike seeks a Designer who will support consumer led retail concepts and the evolution of the Nike retail business across APLA. They will develop impactful / scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments and experiences, create original 3D retail design solutions independently, or by collaborating with design teams. They have a track record of innovative use of emerging technology to build impactful spaces, consumer engagement and interaction. They can work across several design subject areas such as Architecture, Fixtures, Materials and Digital with ease. They can ideate creative concepts, illustrate their ideas and be hands on to lead projects to completion.


If this is you, you will refine and evolve retail concepts into site specific locations, aligning with the global concept creative direction for design development and implement consistent execution throughout projects. You will work with your team to develop the right approach for each project, factoring in the needs of the partners, how they work and how to strategically deliver a solution unique to their business. You will communicate and present design concepts to team/Design Director/Sr Creative Director and build presentation materials that optimally communicate design intent, as well as producing project production files when required.


Under the direction of APLA Design Director, you will collaborate in the development of innovative and original retail environments and programs that reflect Nike's design ethos and improve the consumer retail experience. In this role, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Nike as well as external design agencies, architectural firms, fixture and experience vendors, and general contractors.

You may travel 5 – 15% of the time.

  • Bachelors degree in architectural, interior design, environmental design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
  • 5+ years design experience. International experience beneficial.
  • Retail design industry/environments experience preferred; retail environments, concepts and programs, fixture design.
  • Extensive knowledge of design processes. Sophisticated knowledge of computer systems (AutoCad, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). Ability to sketch design ideas and visually communicate concept development thoughts ideation.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills including meeting facilitation and presentations. Proven ability to effectively communicate concepts/design intent to senior creative team.
  • Ability to source, screen and manage contractors/external vendors including design and production studios/agencies across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and geographies.
  • Self-starter, ability to take initiative, can work without supervision and advance projects independently on brand and achieving concept goals.
