Assistant Buyer
Job Purpose:
Multi store luxury womenswear company is looking for an experienced assistant buyer to join our team.
We are looking for super organized, forward thinkers with an elevated eye and a passion for fashion. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a womenswear buying role.
Duties include:
Attend trade shows, showroom and vendor appointments.
Help facilitate and attend vendor trunk shows.
Weekly check in with boutiques on customer requests and store needs.
Boutique site visits to make sure merchandise is properly represented.
Assist with sales associate brand training on new vendors.
Organizing and submitting vendor RTVs
New brand research and outreach and trend tracking.
Work with lead buyer and ownership on merchandise selections.
Researching vendor sell through evaluations.
Entering Purchase orders
Running daily vendor sales reports
Vendor communications
Submitting vendor purchase orders
Daily reporting to make sure stores have correct product based on season and sell through
