Position Summary

Rally House Assistant Buyers are responsible for supporting all aspects within their assigned category, whether it be apparel, water bottles, or dog leashes ....we know, it's pretty cute. Assistant Buyers gain responsibility in forecasting, trend analysis, and assortment planning while working closely with Buyers and the Head Merchant. An eye for detail along with a creative stroke of genius is what makes our Buyers successful. We mix the number crunching with a really cool product and seem to have a good time doing it! Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide data entry support to buyers
  • Ensure all items have correct taxonomy and product description
  • Run reports for buyers as needed
  • Replenishment purchase orders that support in stock, sales, margin
  • Execution of our inventory management system
  • Ensure all copy is free from error (such as basic typos, etc.)
  • Responsible for ordering/managing inventory to support merchandise plan objectives
  • Analyze replenishment reports and produces vendor purchase orders
  • Responsible for ordering/managing inventory to support merchandise plan objectives
  • Monitor inventory and manage daily, weekly, and monthly purchase orders as needed to support demand


  • Undergraduate Degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in the buying and/or retail industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Works well under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner and problem solver
  • Highly reliable and self-confident
  • Proven ability to think strategically and conceptually
