Assistant Designer - Avia, AND1, & Warner's Socks

We are looking for a talented Assistant Designer to join our legwear design team. This individual will help design and assist the team on leading brands such as Avia, AND1, and Warner’s for Walmart as well as other top retailers. The Assistant designer will create print and pattern, develop sketches and cad recoloring’s. You will work on creating tech packs in PLM, organizing charts and keeping track of samples. We are looking for a great team player and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Designers in design or admin direction

• Create and update design tech packs in PLM

• Communicate with overseas factories

• Track and organize development/production samples

• Create page views and CAD pages for presentations

• Assist in communication with all departments in division: Product

Development, Production, Marketing, and Sales

• Review all proto and PPS samples that come in daily, checking for quality, spec, and design details

• Work with the Sales team to help service any cad and sample needs.

• Assist in creating color palettes and trend ideas per season

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of design experience

• Illustrator

• Photoshop

• Excel

• Outlook

• PLM is a plus

• Ability to multitask
