Assistant Designer, CKUM Off-Price - CALVIN KLEIN
THE ROLE:
The Assistant Designer will support the Men's Off-Price Calvin Klein Underwear Design team's mission to deliver the best assortment for our cost conscious consumers.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focused brand relevant research on trends, details, and silhouettes based on Seasonal Concepts
- Detailed sketching in Illustrator for new and updated styles
- Generate waistband artwork
- Update, maintain and create Tech Packs in Centric
- Assist Design in maintaining/organizing styles, trims and development library
- Aide Design in the preparation of presentations to global regions and accounts
- Manage and update design changes throughout the season, specifically Pre and Post Line Adoptions, Fittings and Late Adds/Reorders
- Work closely with members of the Design Team as well as cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive product line is realized
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
0-1 year experience
Education:
BA/BFA or associates with 1 year experience
Skills:
- Great MAC/PC knowledge including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible learning for new technology platform
