The Assistant Designer will work with all designers in assisting with day-to-day projects. They will research trends and work on creating trend boards that are brand specific for each season. They will also work on creating new designs by brand as well as work on tech packs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Seasonal Color Card
  • Execute and maintain submit process: punch fabric, collaborate with Colorist to receive color comments, pull all necessary reference materials for review with Designer, and advise comments to factory
  • Maintain Brand standards library
  • Prepare/Organize standards to pass to SATeam
  • Assist with CAD of all styles for seasonal presentations
  • Assist with creating print and YD repeats based on direction from Designer
  • Prepare and submit CADs to Licensors
  • Provide Development team with new fabrics and trims; maintain record of new development
  • Prepare/Tag SMS for Line reviews and organize alternate vendor samples, and maintain sample Staging Room
  • Assist in updating Master with Line review changes prior to market
  • Create Sales special request Projects. Including CADs, color cards and Fabric Swatch cards
  • Create PLM Color Card and generate all PLM codes for Style, trim, and packaging guides
  • Initiate all TP styles in PLM; Hand off and review new styles with tech department
  • Manage creation of art summary and BOM pages; make sure all appropriate design detail pages are included in TP
  • Create and add links for all cad Master Decks styles to Development and Production charts seasonally
  • Assist with any projects within the department
  • Create Sales Sample Photo Master Decks
  • Manage corporate cad pass-off for Corporate Approvals
  • Create cad stickers/swatch stickers for packaging
  • Create Targa files as needed
  • Create Browzwear cads as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of design experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), Microsoft Excel, Outlook
  • PLM is a plus
  • Browzwear or other 3D design is a plus
  • Airtable is a plus
