Fabric Purchasing Assistant

rag & bone is seeking a Fabric Purchasing Assistant to join the Raw Material procurement team. This person will play an integral role on the Product Management team and will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of Fabric procurement including order creation, order maintenance & tracking, daily communication with Mill partners, as well as internal cross functional partners. We're seeking a candidate who has strong Excel skills, is detail oriented, and has the ability to export, manipulate and analyze data.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Fabric Purchasing Associate with bulk fabric approvals
  • Maintains and organizes approved bulk standards in the fabric library
  • Create and maintain Fabric liability boards for the product team to utilize seasonally
  • Enter new approved Fabric data into D365 (Image, cost, lead-time, MCQ/MOQ) and actively maintains accurate and complete information to always ensure full data-integrity.
  • Purchase Order creation/issuance to vendors for Bulk
  • Attend weekly meetings with the production team to advise ETA's and to call out issues

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years in purchasing, procurement, or buying role.
  • Raw material field preferable but open to experience from other industries.

  • Strong Microsoft Office Excel Skills (Such as V Lookup, If Then formulas, pivot tables, etc)

  • Excellent administrative, analytical, planning, and communication skills
  • Must have strong initiative, strategic thinking and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize workload independently
  • Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to pivot from task to task quickly
  • Bachelor's Degree
