Petit Clair is a Leading Children Clothing Brand

As the Assistant Fashion Designer , you will work very closely with Petit Clair's design and product team. You will assist in managing and keeping track of the product cycle, of all Styles each season, including design, development , production, In addition to other design focused projects.

Responsibilities

Creating Sketches & Color Cads

Creating Initial tech pack

Keeping track of all incoming/outgoing design Samples

Manage fabric books used throughout the cycle of each season

Creating mood boards with each seasons styles, fabrics and trims

Prep design meeting by selecting and preparing necessary materials and styles that will be reviewed and discussed

Help Assist Buyers with any PO Creation & Tracking

Create Style & Description's for all new Styles once they Launch

Requirements

2+ years of Designer or Merchandising experience

Can create your own styles according the the Brands Aesthetic

Super Organized

Know how to measure garments

have a great eye for fashion and color

great communication Skills

great Writing Skills

Efficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photo Shop
