The Assistant Fashion Designer will assist with the execution of seasonal collections, fabrications, and colors that maintain the brand identity.


1. Assist with the creation of tech packs for seasonal collection: Using CAD to develop new seasonal products and create tech packs based on seasonal purchase orders for e-commerce, wholesale and other points of sale.

2. Assist with Spec samples for submission to factories for seasonal production

3. Prepare catalog and line sheets of seasonal collections to be used by the graphics, social media and wholesale departments

4. Responsible for reviewing all files submitted to factories for seasonal production

5. Performs other duties as assigned


Education/Certification:Associate Degree or Certification in Fashion Design is required. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-2 yearsof related experience required.


Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Strong understanding of colors- when developing prints/collections

Ability to review and approve trims and strike offs

Tech Pack Development

Packaging Design (BONUS)

Proficient with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Proficient in Production Line Management (PLM) Program

Understanding of grading, spec sheets, size charts, and pattern making

Knowledge of Asana and Slack is a plus

Excellent organizational and time management

Detail Oriented

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
