We're seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Merchandiserto assist in the growth, productivity and profitability of various women's apparel categories! Located at our global headquarters in Kenosha, WI(near Milwaukee, WIand Chicago, IL), you'll play an important role in analyzing and helping to create optimal brand assortments in the underwear, T-shirts, sleep, activewear, thermals, and sock product lines! Working collaboratively with our Merchandising, Marketing, Product Development, Design, and other cross-functional teams in developing U.S. product strategies, you'll enjoy being an active contributor on a fun, fast-paced team for a world-renown brand!
Job Scope- Perform competitive and business trend analysis, providing verbal and written analysis.
- Provide market opportunity intelligence to the Merchandising and Design teams; share input/recommendations.
- Maintain and manage merchandising calendars.
- Contribute to product brief construction and support the development of product strategies.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product Development, and Design teams to support the development of product strategies.
- Assist in the development, planning, and initial forecasting of product assortments.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Merchandising, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of one to two years of relevant business experience, previous internship experience or retail experience accepted.
- Basic understanding of market and consumer impact online planning.
- Knowledge/understanding of product development process.
- Basic working knowledge of financial principles in cost development.
- Strong collaboration skills through clear and authentic communication style with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Adobe knowledge a plus. Previous experience with SAP preferred.
