Job Mission

Provide support regarding product data aspects of footwear & apparel within the Go to Market Process (PPM for footwear & AA for apparel). Role is to help facilitate North American Merchandising Team to work to a standard procedure. Facilitate the tracking of the regional process against the creation dates & gates. Develop processes and strategies to generate maximum efficiency for each key milestone within the timelines. Support the continuous development of PPM & AA to maximize time management for the merchants. Be responsible for helping to compile workflow analysis, analyzing SKU efficiency & productivity reports, and review to track key metrics. Provide weekly, monthly, & quarterly reports for ‘Executive’ level review to track these key metrics.

Major Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling of North American Merch team pre-work prior to footwear & apparel milestones, presell & preline support and scheduling, as well as sample organization
  • Own data integrity for both footwear (PPM) & apparel (AA) for the region, inclusive of SMG’s
  • DA extraction from PPM & AA and data input support
  • Commercial Input Document – support in data consolidation and synthesis
  • Support in showroom setup, PPM/AA updates, PPM/AA extraction
  • Play a support role in preparation, execution and follow up
    • Regional Merch Outs post VLR/Design Review (2/year for footwear & 2/year for apparel)
    • Global Go to Market Meeting (formerly GLR) (2/year for footwear & apparel
  • Respond promptly to internal requests, supporting Global Key Account and Regional Business Unit merchants
  • Support the continued developed of the art & science of merchandising. Run reports that help to support the key performance metrics and strategically utilize retail acumen, historical data, marketplace data and information as the basis for sound decision making

Requirements For Success

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel and an overall acumen for data integrity and process
  • Team player who exhibits drive for results
  • Outgoing and confident, able to make connections across the organization to facilitate workflow
