Work closely with planning, wholesale sales, e-commerce, to align merchandising strategies with overall business goals. Build strong communication channels and coordination across departments.

The Merchandising Assistant Manager will play a key role in collaborating with the Merchandising Director to drive the success of John Hardy jewelry collections. This hybrid role based in NYC involves strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the reimagined John Hardy brand continued growth and success in the market.
▪Work closely with product teams to contribute to the product build life cycle, Merch Plan.
▪Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation.
▪Assist in developing and executing go-to-market plans for new collections, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
▪Coordinate major milestones to meet launch deadlines, working closely with various departments.
▪Establish and manage pricing strategies in line with John Hardy positioning and financial targets.
▪Monitor and analyze pricing and margin performance, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
▪Strategic alignment with the John Hardy brand's image and market positioning.
▪Execute long-term planning to maintain a cohesive and aligned product assortment.
▪Conduct regular analysis of the competitive landscape, staying informed on industry trends.
▪Provide guidance on assortment planning, working closely with product teams to ensure a cohesive product offering.
▪Collaborate with commercial teams to gather insights and address market needs effectively.
▪Support wholesale activities, including trunk shows, by coordinating with sales teams to ensure successful events.
▪Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to optimize product visibility and sales opportunities.
▪Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
▪Proven experience in merchandising. Luxury and/or jewelry experience preferred.
▪Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
▪Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
▪Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
