Evereve is seeking an Assistant Product Merchandiser to manage the product and sample needs across EVEREVE’s cross functional partnerships, including Catalog, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Product Education. Working closely with the Buying Team, you will manage communication between cross- functional EVEREVE business partners and vendors, and ensure both sample product flow meets deadlines and project needs and all product detail information is accurate.

Reports to:Vice President of Merchandising

Key Responsibilities And Tasks Include

Product/Sample Management

  • Supervise management of samples for all cross-functional needs in close partnership with buying team coordinators and assistant buyers
  • Send out weekly communication to buying team of upcoming sample needs, shoots, catalog editing due dates, upcoming email blasts
  • Ensure that all cross-functional partners are aware of sample location and schedules

  • Manage communication with vendors on sample requests and shipping to and from the Home Office
  • Secure and manage product samples and inventory for:
    • Key meetings including but not limited to catalog marketing meetings, etc
    • Catalog shoots in coordination with Styling Team and Production Team
    • Monthly floorset installations in coordination with Visual Merchandising Team
    • New brand focuses, new category launches and other visual merchandising initiatives
    • Monthly photo shoots for denim, bottoms and jewelry
    • Weekly eBlasts
    • Influencer events and/or photoshoots
    • Paid Social
  • Ensure all product samples are returned to appropriate location in a timely fashion once project/initiative is complete
  • Manage and communicate any shipping delays with cross functional partners , stores, care team and warehouse team

Product Flow and Information

  • Oversee and manage weekly shot list for e-commerce shoots and catalog shoots as needed
  • Oversee and manage all catalog product flow:
    • Catalog all items prior to shipping samples to catalog shoot
    • Prepare and execute sample shipping and logistics to catalog shoots in an organized and timely fashion
    • Manage master list of product used in catalog shoots and communicate list with cross functional partners including site merchandising team to ensure product attribution and linking
    • Oversee editing of catalog to ensure all pricing, style numbers, delivery dates, product descriptions are correct and managing editing process in partnership with the buying team
    • Once catalog product is in stock, manage on hand units, delivery dates and any shipping issues
  • Oversee and manage eBlast product flow:
    • Update weekly email blast document and spreadsheets with product featured in upcoming email blasts – style numbers, units on hand or on order and in store dates
    • Send out weekly communication to buying team of upcoming sample needs, shoots, catalog editing due dates, upcoming email blasts to merchant team
    • Work with vendors to ensure timely tracking and shipping of product featured in email blasts
    • Resolve issues for product featured in upcoming email blasts with VP of Merchandising, suggesting changes for email blasts based on inventory levels
    • Set up any brand exclusions for sales/promotions
  • Monitor sample inventory for Paid Social in partnership with the Marketing team.
  • Create documents for new brand launches, reorder documents, delayed product tracking and other product educational needs
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Three years experience working with cross functional teams in a high volume environment; retail or fashion experience highly preferred
  • College degree desired, but not required.
  • Works effectively and collaboratively with cross functional partners of all levels
  • Positive, self-starter; works independently with initiative and ownership over managing and completing tasks
  • Innovative thinker and problem solver with ability to identify and implement workflow/process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at prioritizing and managing multiple demand and deadlines
  • Ability to navigate and shift direction to address changing needs and help drive sales
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word; aptitude to navigate POS system and reporting
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Able to occasionally drive to EVEREVE warehouse as needed
