- Domestic and international travel (limited Int’l) required (±15% of time on the road)
This role is part of the Global Product Merchandising Team, which is responsible for driving the product creation vision, strategy, and execution of Jordan Apparel Special Projects product lines & collections. Specifically, this team focuses on Collaborations & Luxury projects. The ownership of this team includes translating partner & consumer insights into concrete product briefs, crafting the line plans, life cycle plans, and assortments to meet our global business needs, and analyzing business results to inform future season strategies!

They will blend art with science to bring the Jordan Brand vision to life in our physical and digital retail environments to ensure a premium Brand and consumer experience.
Who are we looking for
As our Assistant Product Merchandiser, Jordan Apparel Special Projects, you will be responsible for all Product Line Management & Merchandising results of the Special Projects business. This is an outstanding hybrid role that combines the best of Product Management & Merchandising to allow for enterprise & strategic creation + planning to ensure the end-to-end process is in the best interest of the consumer. You'll spend time crafting with industry leading & groundbreaking entertainers/influencers/retailers in order to launch Jordan apparel into the future. You will also assist the Jordan Luxury apparel offense which encompasses the most premium & crafted collection that is Made in Italy. With direction from the Product Director, you'll collaborate against the project/partner pipeline and be responsible for all facets of the product creation processes. You'll also work with developers, designers, marketing, & business owners to meet key deliverables each season including calendar deadlines, sample confirmations, & communication tools to all partners.

It is critical to understand the consumer’s ecosystem of influence & how Jordan Apparel can achieve the mission of becoming the #1 streetwear brand in the world. The candidate needs to have an astute passion for apparel, effective verbal/written interpersonal skills, ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced environment, & excellent attention to details. Additionally, the candidate needs to understand the world of Fashion + Street Luxury & be able to succeed in an extremely cross-functional setting.
What you will work on
If this is you, you'll obsess over the needs of the consumer, advised by deep consumer insights, building and implementing the line plan for the product line that supports the category’s seasonal strategies and delivers growth. You'll work closely with the design and development team handling resources to implement the seasonal product strategies, assortments and business needs. You'll lead the entry of accurate and complete information in the data management system and act as the proprietor of product analysis and historical information. You will build compelling briefs and storytelling for our consumers with your strong product knowledge and deep product experience. You'll drive clarity by balancing the need to seek information with the need to be understood and the ability to communicate effectively in multifaceted settings all while, building and sustaining positive relationships with key cross functional (Innovation, Creation Triad, Marketing, Planning, Digital) and Geo Partners.
