Contribute to design research, design and development for each season that interpret trends; market research to fit within brand's aesthetics
Collaborate with design team to execute appropriate design quality and trim to fit within price parameters
Create detailed Tech packs in illustrator including technical flat sketching, call outs and detail measurements, detail images and trim information for factories to make samples
Communicate with overseas to make sure all fabric and trim has been ordered for all samples and maintain delivery
Create and maintain line sheets, cads, color cards, tech packs and charts for all seasons
Create marketing tools for new styles ( including packaging and showroom set up)
Responsible for tracking, logging in, tagging and steaming samples as they are received
Create mood boards and fabric/color palettes by delivery
Maintain and update denim wash archive
Mockup samples for showroom (requires sewing skills, crafty)
Required to run errands for fabric and trims
Responsible for commenting on all wash approval submits from suppliers for (sampling and bulk production)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of Denim experience
Must have garment construction and fit knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must be a team player, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Must be organized, motivated and have a good sense of style, trends, and color direction
Must be highly proficient in: Photoshop, illustrator, excel and Outlook
Excellent follow up skills and ability to meet deadlines
Must be knowledgeable of New York City/Garment district
