Savage X Fenty is currently looking for an

Associate Designer.

How Do You Fit In?

As the

Associate Designer

, you will develop compelling & creative designs/concepts with a focus on core products. Your passion for innovation drives your desire to enhance existing collections & always keep an eye out for what’s new/next. You will report to the Innovation & Launch Sr. Designer to bring these developments to life. You’ll enjoy collaborating with a team of skilled and creative individuals navigating a fast-paced, start-up environment. The ideal candidate will be an efficient self-starter who is passionate about Savage X Fenty, the lingerie world, and body-inclusivity.

What You Will Do

  • Stay abreast of market trends & share creative insights with team members.
  • Attend vendor meetings with Sr. Designer.
  • Assist in brainstorming compelling Innovation concepts & bring them to life.
  • Ownership of linesheets.
  • Create CADS in Illustrator.
  • Create & manage techpacks in our PLM system, including Construction Pages & BOMs
  • Ownership of Core Carryover Product, including Seasonal Fashion iterations & updates.
  • Work closely with graphic designer on prints for core collections.
  • Assist in tracking seasonal & long-range developments.
  • Manage the receipt & submission of development materials.
  • Assist in preparation for meetings such as Innovation TB’s, Concept & Sketch Review.
  • Ensure all meetings are prepared with appropriate line sheets, and reference materials.
  • Assist with fittings, taking note of changes and incorporate updates across line sheets & PLM.
  • Identify trim needs ranging from functional to novelty – work closely with R&D to develop.
  • Adhere to time and action calendar.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamic and assist wherever possible.
  • Assist with wear-test sample requests & survey follow-up
  • Follow through on tasks assigned to you.
  • Maintain a consistent sense of urgency while being creative.

What You Can Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design– specialization in Intimates/Lingerie a plus.
  • 3+ year industry experience
  • Working knowledge of PLM.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Excel, and Power point.
  • Proven knowledge of garment construction.
  • Possess a creative spirit, and effectively express your ideas.
  • Must be proactive and naturally inclined to problem-solve.
  • Excellent communication & follow-up skills – verbal, written and presentation.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust workload as a result of shifting priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive working-relationships among team members, management and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
