Creates technical specifications for precise factory implementation of designs. Bridges administrative and creative tasks in support of seasonal development cycles. Elevates designs through thoughtful information creation, allowing factories to see, understand, execute with speed and accuracy. Capable of interpreting and adopting design direction. Curious problem solver who can work with multiple inputs, digest information, chart a path forward to completion dates. Technically proficient, collaborative, creative. Inherently understands positive working relationships with people set the tone for departmental outputs. Strives to continually smooth and strengthen lines of communications with colleagues.

  • Functional Evaluation of Design Concepts/ Field Testing
  • Prototype Creation
  • Trend Research
  • Design Boards
  • Color Forecasting
  • QC Creation and Upkeep
  • Sample/Fabric Libraries Creation/Maintenance
  • Design Opportunities
  • Intern Supervision

Education and Experience:

  • AA Degree in Fashion/Design or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in digital pattern making Optitex PDS 19, Gerber a plus.
  • Interest in Outdoor Apparel, Gloves, Tents, Packs.
  • Personal experience or desire to learn Hiking, Climbing, Skiing.

Computer Skills

  • Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
