The Associate Designer will work under the team Design Head, on development, and maintenance of footwear designs from concept through production. The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities and a fast paced environment. They must be passionate and creative with an elevated aesthetic and eye for detail.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the team Designer in the following:
  • Help build seasonal design boards and keep them up to date
  • Collect, track and ensure all information is compiled and easily accessible related to each style
  • Assist building tech packs
  • Create and execute cads including seasonal deck using Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Compile trend research from Design Head direction
  • Manage seasonal line sheets

  • Ability to work on multiple seasons at one time
  • EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • AA or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 2 years of design experience
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong hand and Illustrator sketching skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Not required but a plus Rhino or equivalent 3D rendering program experience
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Must provide digital portfolio of work
