TheAssociate Merchandiserfor theLucky Brand Value Channel (Discounters and Clubs)is an ambitious, self-starter that thrives in an exciting, fast paced environment. They are a key partner to the Merchandising team, responsible for providing organizational support and partnering with their Merchandiser on the running of the day-to-day business. The Associate Merchandiser leverages organizational and analytical skills, as well as an eye for relevant trends, to support the brand and the achievement of financial goals.

Position Responsibilities

• Market expert – knows customer, competition and market trends for Women’s wovens, knits, sweaters and denim categories

• Influence category assortments by analyzing product performance, customer feedback, consumer trend and competitive landscape

• Analyze selling reports and store visits, while generating actions to maximize business opportunities

• Build and maintain assortment tools

• Anticipate department needs for milestone meetings each season

• Participate in milestone meetings; recap and prioritize action items from meetings and follow up as needed

• Play an active role in the market set up and preparation process

• Manage sample process; ensure samples are organized and categorized appropriately

• Complete data entry for day-to-day product management such as utilizing various PLM systems

• Use day-to-day learnings to create solutions and adjust strategies as business needs change

• Understand the different roles of the cross-functional team and how they relate to the Merchandising role, and foster relationships to efficiently drive collaboration

• Proactively seek out new opportunities to grow the business and further personal and professional development

Position Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Design, Product Development or related field

• 3+ years of related experience

• Highly skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and proficient learner of PLM systems

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Highly detail oriented and organized

• Ability to multitask and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast paced environment

• Self-motivated with a strong ability to self-manage and define priorities of the department/business

• Must be able to develop relationships at all levels and work in a collaborative environment

• Commitment to learning and continuous development
