Job Description:

The Associate Site Merchandiser helps optimize the customer’s discovery and selection of products on In a digital-only brand, this is a critical role that is deeply engaged with the business.

As part of the Hanna Digital Team, you will collaborate across functions to provide our customer with a superior shopping experience. Blending the art and science of digital merchandising, you will balance our brand and merchandising vision with ongoing analytics to optimize the customer’s site experience, bringing key product initiatives to life through merchandising and compelling on-site marketing.

You are a great collaborator – you will proactively build trusting relationships across Hanna’s organization, including, but not limited to, functional partners in merchandising, inventory planning, digital creative and marketing. You will work with teams to streamline, simplify and automate processes and ways of working. You are organized and possesses great communication and presentation skills.

Above all, you will be a constant champion for our consumer and their needs. Always seeking to answer “How can I help the customer find my products? How can I create an engaging experience so that my customer will come back and shop again?”


  • Help manage the site experience of large seasonal campaigns on
  • Analyze/Hindsight launches and live campaigns to improve and optimize.
  • Focus on improving on-site customer shopping experience through a systematic and agile approach that supports ongoing identification of opportunities and reprioritizes work streams to move quickly towards proven customer-centric solutions.
  • Analyze site metrics to connect web behavioral profiles to customer, sales, and merchandising data.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing and Creative teams to determine product placements for onsite category marketing.
  • Represent the digital experience in key cross-functional assortment reviews.
  • Support all aspects of the site product catalog including setup process and driving the product attribution and categorization strategy to optimize the consumer experience
  • Keep abreast of market trends, consumer trends, competition, customer service issues, and eCommerce technology and dynamics.
  • Perform and maintain competitive website analysis
  • Works closely with cross-functional partners (e.g., Merchandising, Marketing, Digital Creative, Copy, etc) to align on monthly strategies for respective projects
  • Oversees the visual shop path presentation and seasonal storytelling for respective projects that will best respond to customer demand and convert visits into sales
  • Understands market best practices for visual merchandise displays and builds plans to reflect first class presentation of products within categories.


  • 2+ years Site Merchandising experience required.
  • A love of product and passion for the brand.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tell stories through data.
  • Detail oriented and process obsessed, with a high level of accuracy and a drive to continuously improve.
  • Results-driven with the ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and multi-task. Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs.
  • A direct communication style with the ability to inspire and motivate others across the company. Collaborative, energetic and hands-on team player.
  • A passion for creating engaging, compelling DTC e-commerce experiences for consumers.
  • An understanding and appreciation for building strong brands through digital experiences.
  • Strong web analytics experience required. Experience using Google Analytics preferred.
  • Salesforce CommerceCloud experience a plus
  • BA/BS degree required
