WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an individual to oversee Men’s Footwear Assortment Planning across the Asia-Pacific/Latin-America business unit, focused on Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) and Nike Stores Owned (NSO) channels. You will possess a comprehensive understanding of retail metrics and how they are used across functions to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for Nike, with a strong ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business. Strong communication skills are critical. Candidate must be forward-thinking with growth mindset and desire to build the future of retail. Extensive Digital and/or vertical retail experience is strongly preferred. Is this you?

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

This role will include presenting financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings. You will proactively report on the health of the business and facilitate sound business decisions and action plans, to leaders and cross-functional team members, on a weekly basis. You will collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, create and share best practices, and develop systems knowledge. In addition, you will participate in a team structure that facilitates and improves individual and team performance, supporting and fostering an open and inclusive environment that embraces diversity, encourages accountability, and drives toward results.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will support key business initiatives and goals through demand and supply management. You will partner with the broader cross-functional team to build and refine strategies; you will support strategies with development of comprehensive assortment forecasts. You will work across a highly diverse team of counterparts, with key partners that are both WHQ-based and territory-based. You will work closely with Merchandise Financial Planning and Merchandising to determine style depth, breath and flow plans tied to key financial and inventory efficiency targets. You will own and drive rolling franchise-level stock and sales plans, partnering with territory and cross-functional partners. You will analyze and share consumer-led insights to shape future product strategies.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6 years of proven experience in assortment planning, company planning, merchandising, allocations or operations
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence others
  • Solid understanding of cross team calibration; international experience preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math; ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
  • Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred
  • Experience working across multiple business platforms, including owned website/apps and partner businesses
  • PC literate with strong solid understanding of Excel
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources
  • Experience in Digital vertical retail preferred
