A Day In The Life:

As the Temporary Buyer for Handbags and SLGs, you will support and execute

on the buying process for the direct to consumer business in North America.

The typical day is… atypical. You will be participating in the building of product

assortments during market and assisting the team in identifying future product

opportunities, trends, and class-level offerings to drive sales. You and your

team will work on providing end-of-season hindsight and identify opportunities –

product, shape, class, and color analysis; work cross-functionally with Marketing,

PR, Digital Creative, Visual, and Operations, to ensure they have the tools to

understand and support the seasonal buying strategy. You’ll partner with

Planning on the determination of style level plans, receipt plans, margin/IMU

targets, and product flow. The consistent thread is that you’ll be working with

To Land This Role:

• BA or BS, preferred

• 4-6 years of retail buying experience in a luxury or service driven

environment

• Ability to build partnership with direct managers and cross functional

partners.

• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and inspire

teams

• Analyze the business to gain an understanding of prior performance and

develop future goals

• Maintain complex spreadsheets and create and update visual aids for

seasonal market presentations

• Ability to pivot with business changes
