We’re seeking an experienced and creative Concept designer who exhibits a natural curiosity and strong ability to innovate. This position will focus on the research and development of brand driven merchandise.

Responsibilities

Partnerships

  • Take initiative to understand expectations, proactively seek clarification of goals and deliverables as needed.
  • Effectively communicates creative ideas to executive leadership, cross-functional partners, and team.
  • Exceptional ability to foster strong partnerships with cross functional partners to create cohesive concept presentations
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic concept team.

Creative

  • Leads in creating original, trend-forward, brand appropriate print concepts & seasonal trend packs.
  • Strong digital presentation skills, utilizing Indesign to create impactful & inspiring trend packs.
  • Demonstrate creative ability to autonomously research & self-direct to present print trends seasonally & in weekly meetings.
  • Strong connection and knowledge of past & emerging print and pattern trends found within art, design, and fashion.
  • Utilize AI to create emotive imagery that is trend forward & supports concept Directives.

Processes

  • Proactively prepare for weekly concept meetings, updating & developing print trends in reaction to feedback.
  • Lead seasonal trend & concept workload to meet all deadlines.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of the fashion/design landscape
  • Awareness of successes & opportunities found in weekly business, seasonal hindsight, and quarterly Print Attributes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine art, textile design, graphic design, or related experience necessary.
  • 2+ years of experience in print or textile industry.
  • Experienced in trend forecasting, print design, and apparel design.
  • Advanced creative and technical skills in Adobe photoshop & Indesign.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Power Point.
  • Experience or openness to creative exploration using AI platforms.
