Position Summary: The role of Coordinator, Leather Fabric, & Trim- Footwear & Accessories will provide operational support to the accessories team with a strong focus on material development/research, archive organization and materials tracking. This role will report to the Director of Raw Materials - Footwear & Accessories

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organize and maintain materials library
  • Assist in preparing seasonal materials meetings
  • Support sending out proto/SMS/bulk material orders by creating PO’s
  • Send out all color and quality standards to vendors in a timely manner
  • Communicate daily with domestic and overseas vendors to track material status
  • Daily maintenance of the materials tracking chart with all updates for development, SMS and production orders
  • Collect and organize LDS/FDS sheets in the company shared drive
  • Create seasonal materials binders and keep track of all SMS/bulk swatches
  • Track all SMS/production A4 references and ensure all required references are in-house for essential meetings
  • Work closely with product development / production team to ensure all SMS/BULK submits are received and reviewed in a timely manner

Position Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in materials for accessories/footwear
  • Strong cross functional partnering, problem solving, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be highly organized
  • Strong sense of color and details is a plus
  • Basic to moderate materials knowledge to help maintain materials library
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask
  • Energetic and adaptable, able to perform efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who is passionate about product and can balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in RLM is preferred.

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000, which represents a rate commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
