The Role

Opportunity to assist in the development of Menswear range concepts ensuring the quality of apparel is maintained through the development and production stages.

Opportunity to assist in the development of Menswear range concepts ensuring the quality of apparel is maintained through the development and production stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Menswear Designer to develop range concepts
  • Attend fitting to ensure continuation of style development process
  • Attend all fit meetings and other associated meetings which will impact upon the range development
  • Select all trims for the range to be signed off by the Designer to ensure the look and values of the brand are maintained
  • Source, execute and design any creative, conceptual work required for pre-sell or sell presentation to ensure clarity and consistency at all times
  • Conceptualise monthly storyboards in form of mood and colour
  • Liaise with the suppliers to monitor the development, availability, lead-time and costs

Profile

The Ideal Candidate has

  • A tertiary qualification in Fashion or Textiles is preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in Similar role desirable but not essential
  • Experience with illustration software packages
  • Experience having worked in a similar design led role in a fashion business would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally across the business
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Works well within a collaborative team
