Design & Production Internship

JULIA JENTZSCH Inc. is a luxury womenswear company based in New York. We are looking for motivated interns to assist our design team for a minimum of 3 months and startingMay 16th.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who are enthusiastic about the design process and eager to learn about the full cycle of a sustainable high-end designer collection, from development to presentation.

Requirements

The candidate must be a fashion student who can be available a minimum of 2-3 days a week from 10 am - 6:30 pm

Knowledge of pattern making, sewing, fabrics, and trims

Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Excel, and Word

School credit is provided

Fluent in English

Unpaid internship with travel and lunch expenses covered

Responsibilities

Assisting designer with Spring Summer 2023

Assisting with managing fabric and trim orders for Fall Winter 2022 production

Sourcing fabric and trims

Maintaining and organizing the fabric archives for development research

Assisting in creating, organizing, and maintaining the fabric boards and cards

Consolidating orders and creating Excel spreadsheets

Organizing studio space and inventory
