Design Room Assistant

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing trims/accessories/fabrics for locally made samples and inhouse machinists
• Sending fabrics/trims/accessories/patterns by courier to local cutters/machinists and booking return pickups
• Prepare packs trims/accessories/fabrics to send to factories
• Assisting to co-ordinate the sending of artworks to fabric and trim suppliers for strike off, ensuring all developments are actioned accurately and efficiently.
• Documenting changes in trims/finishes made to SMS (photos) and communicating to relevant design room coordinator
• Assisting with swatching pattern sheets with correct fabrics for cutting locally
• Upkeep and filing of fabrics and trims – manage the archive and new seasonal sourcing.
• Assist to manage a system for storing sourced materials that is accessible for all teams.
• Set up seasonal fabric headers and the trim & fabric folder for hand over to production team.
• Assist to maintain fabric and trim trackers with sampling liability, cancelled orders etc.
