This position requires up to 2 years of apparel-related design experience and is only available for candidates who are authorized to work in the United States.

The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for the apparel product planning and execution throughout the fashion product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements for the company, defining the product vision of the fashion brand, and working closely with product development, sales & marketing.

You will also possess technical design skills and work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage concept, design, sketch, prototyping (including managing art-to-product, sample creation, and fit sessions) and deliver trend-right, innovative, consumer-centric product lines for our customers.
  • Lead the apparel product planning and execution throughout the fashion product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements for the company.
  • Drive collaborative approval meetings with customers, guiding them through complex market and product segmentation, whilst ensuring high quality standards in execution, color, material, form, and function while maximizing profitability
  • Guide multiple external vendors to develop product concepts against strategic design vision and concept to deliver maximum customer satisfaction
  • Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in apparel design, merchandising, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in apparel product development
  • 3D CAD experience in apparel design would be an added advantage
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
