HONOR garments are proudly developed and produced exclusively in New York City. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

Seeking a personable and inclusive team player who is an extremely organized, proactive multi-tasker with an attention to detail, excellent communication and time management skills. Full-time position and ready to work with a small team.

Must be able to work in a highly productive, fast paced environment with a hands-on approach.

Strong garment construction knowledge and experience in high-end bridal or evening wear development is required. Made in NY is preferred.

• This is a full-time opportunity, working on-site from our design office & atelier in SOHO, NYC.

• Hours of Operation: M-F 10 AM - 6 PM, though full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business. Additional hours and weekends may be required in the lead up to seasonal collection presentations and markets.

• Salary: To commensurate with experience.

in its discretion which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage. REQUIREMENTS:

• Oversee creation of fabric layering mock ups and sewing samples to help select final fabrics, linings, and finishes.

• Create detail sheets from original sketches to be given to pattern makers and sewers with construction guidelines, all relevant

finishings and design details.

• Design original prints and embroidery layouts.

• Create cut tickets for muslins and final samples and complete packages with all fabrics, trims, linings to be passed to

local factories and work alongside development/production.

• Assist creative director with development fittings by organizing development muslins and samples from in house and outside factories.

• Document all design changes by updating sketches, detail sheets, cut tickets, cutters musts and design boards.

• Manage the small in-house team to developing collections from start to finish.

• Responsible for maintaining efficient workflows by adhering to design and development calendars and delivering to deadlines.

• Work with local factories to construct muslins and original samples with high end finishings.

• We are made in NYC, therefore familiarity/ relationships with local NYC Garment District resources is a plus. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• BA or BS in Fashion Design with at least 3 years relevant experience

• Experience working for a luxury brand in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of Honor’s aesthetic and passionate about maintaining Honor’s design DNA throughout all aspects of the brand.

• Sensitivity to fabrication and color.

• In-depth knowledge of high end garment construction.

• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator on MAC. Indesign is a plus.

• Proficient in Adobe Fresco on iPad
