We employ more than 15,000 people globally to support our great brands: Levi's®, Dockers®, Denizen® and Signature by Levi Strauss & Co.™ PAGE-BREAKAbout the JobPOINTER-MARK Reports into the Global Head of Design for DockersPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Develop seasonal design platforms and concepts for Men’s ProductPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Identify consumer product opportunities through market and trend researchPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Create material, fabric, silhouette, and trim developmentsPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Develop yarn dye and printed patterns and solid colorsPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Design products that accomplish goals for the seasonal calendar, assortment plan and source location requirementsPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Partner with fit developer to develop fit blocks as well as participate in fit reviewsPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Sustain partnerships with Merchandising and Product Development to ensure products are engineered to profit and quality/aesthetic goalsPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Manages multiple lower level designersPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Travel seasonally for trend and conceptPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Travel seasonally to work with Product Development and Factory partner teams on initial product designs PAGE-BREAKAbout YouPOINTER-MARK Expert knowledge of apparel history, construction and a strong aesthetic point of view with the ability to filter through a brand lensPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Bachelor's degree in Design, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitutePAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Minimum 7 years of experience as a designer, at least 5 years as a people manager, responsible and accountable for all facets of design and development.PAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Expertise in creating commercially viable and profitable product designsPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Working knowledge of construction, textiles, hardware and processesPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Flexibility with regards to job responsibilitiesPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.PAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK Interpersonal and organizational skillsPAGE-BREAKPOINTER-MARK An energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS&Co.
