About the Role

JOOPITER is seeking a creative and well-rounded Digital Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for design across multiple media, with a focus on digital. This individual is well versed in modern digital platforms with a keen eye for design, typography, UX and digital trends. The role will be responsible for creating on-brand digital experiences from concept to final execution. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role will also collaborate with colleagues across the Marketing, Digital Product & Technology, Business Development and Business Operations teams.

What You’ll be Doing:

Develop elevated, on-brand, visual designs, wireframes and digital experiences

  • Conceptualize and produce creative, cohesive campaigns across multiple media
  • Primary focus: digital design (web pages, display banner ads, social channels, email)
  • Secondary focus: print design (OOH, in-store signage for events, invitations, catalogs) supporting key auction/product launches and events
  • Shepherd projects from concept to final approval, ensuring consistent brand integrity

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Understand business goals, pain points and product data to develop engaging digital experiences which delight our audience
  • Understand design that drives direct response, leveraging performance design best practices to create thumb-stopping, action-driving creative
  • Manage, collect and iterate on feedback while producing designs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Digital Product & Engineering, Marketing and internal stakeholders to translate insights and learnings from creative tests to optimize future creative development
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales & Ecommerce, Digital Product & Engineering) for the seamless execution of integrated campaigns
  • Ensure alignment with overall business and marketing strategies

What You Bring to the Role:

  • BA/BFA in Graphic Design or Digital Design or equivalent
  • 5+ years in Digital Graphic Designwith an exceptional portfolio that demonstrates excellence in digital and print design that effectively expresses the identity of the brand
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc) and Figma
  • Strong understanding of design layout, color theory, typography, information hierarchy and image slicing
  • Strong photo retouching skills for the ability to replicate assets across digital mediums
  • Superior organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the luxury, design or art industries, and branding with a highly refined sensibility
  • Familiarity with a test-and-learn digital creative framework: continually iterating to find the next new winner
  • An understanding of UX/UI concepts and experience developing website experiences in partnership with product and software engineering
  • Creative extrovert who is comfortable presenting strategic thinking and creative concepts to various levels of an organization
  • Interested in fashion and pop culture to generate inspiration and provide references
  • A natural curiosity and self-learning approach to keep up with the latest design trends and strategies, applying new resources/techniques where needed
  • A positive, can-do attitude and wants to be part of a growing team
  • Motion Graphic and video editing skills is a plus
  • Familiarity of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok) and their functionality is a plus
  • Experience with CMS platforms (Contentful) is a plus
  • Experience with managing product photo shoots is a plus
  • Experience with Keynote, Google Slides is a plus
