Overview

This position is responsible for supporting HBI’s Full Potential Plan for Growing our E-Commerce Business and will help grow our Champion, Under Armour, and Gear Lifestyle Brand businesses through our Drop Ship program with key customers. This individual will be responsible for analytics, tracking and tactical execution in aligning and driving the merchandise experience for our Licensed business with key customers. This position will partner closely with the Brand Product Managers as well as other key cross-functional stakeholders to grow the Drop Ship portion of the Gear for Sports business. The individual must be analytical, self-starter, a collaborator, a great communicator and have a strong desire to learn, improve and grow the business.

Responsibilities

  • All brand point of contact for Drop Ship business
  • Drive profitable Drop Ship sales growth with a focus on the changing market dynamics, competitive strengths/weaknesses, consumer behavior, and optimal style/graphic assortments
  • Manage the full assortment of Drop Ship styles and graphics across all DROP SHIP customers
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders
  • SEASONAL ASSORTMENT PLANNING ACROSS BRANDS: Manage Drop Ship executional timeline for seasonal assortment updates, new customer onboarding and hot market/event graphics
  • Conduct online assortment audits to ensure full assortments are represented and to confirm inventory feed accuracy
  • CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: In conjunction with Sales, serve as the key Customer contact for DROP SHIP
  • Partner with DROP SHIP customers to understand promotional cadence and communicate with the appropriate cross-functional teams to support these initiatives
  • Work with the Brand teams to understand product lifecycle and support new style addition as well as transitioning discontinued styles
  • Work with R&D to conduct Direct to Garment testing on all style/colors and maintain up-to-date approved style/color list for all brands
  • Set Standards/Best Practices for how a retailer executes DROP SHIP with GFS:
  • Works with Operations, Art Production and Graphic Technology to pursue opportunities for best-in-class operational excellence
  • Digital asset support/Web images
  • Pricing/Item set up/Item Creation
  • Weekly Sales Reporting
  • Keen understanding of broader ecommerce trends and their application to the existing HBI business
  • Process and detail oriented. The role requires great attention to detail, the ability to ruthlessly prioritize, and the capability to quickly process data to drive ongoing decision making

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree (BA or BS )
  • 5+ year of previous experience in licensed market and/or leveraging a data-driven, problem-solving approach
  • E-commerce or Merchandising experience with strong understanding of retail math and metrics preferred
  • Proven ability as a “thinker”, a “strategist” and a “creative mind” in order to think outside the box to be a solution provider
  • Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with exceptional reporting capabilities
  • Exhibits leadership skills, along with strong problem solving and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to take initiative and possess strong sense of urgency
  • Subscribes to the highest standards of business ethics and Global Code of Conduct
  • Expert of Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint
