You have a passion for sport, design, people and processes. You listen intently, ask the right questions, and are eager to grow your skills as a producer. You’re a key player on the team – facilitating the day-to-day operations that keep things moving forward. You actively seek to understand Nike’s design process, ways of working, and project management tools. And you do it all with humble confidence.

Who you’ll work with

The Core Commerce Browse Team is responsible for the UX and design of digital product features and capabilities that deliver the best possible brand experience across Nike’s Browse capabilities – defining how users discover, navigate, search and engage with Nike’s products, storytelling and brand experiences on nike.com and in the Nike App. As a key member of this team, you’ll report into the Operations Director of Core Commerce within Nike Digital Product Design.

What your responsibilities will be
  • Owning tasks and small projects that have some depth and may require guidance
  • Independently managing tasks and communicating estimated timelines, risks and capacity plans with stakeholders
  • Advocating for designers and design principles across Nike
  • Collaborating with others and suggesting first steps when faced with complexity
  • Building stable working relationships within the team
  • Moving work forward by partnering with peers
  • Coordinating agency partner selection and management
  • Proactively collaborating across design, product, engineering, program, insights and brand
  • Assisting in evangelizing the Nike brand and Nike design culture internally
What you bring to Nike
  • A bachelor’s degree or any combination of education, training and experience in marketing, organizational communications, advertising or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience leading creative teams through the design process at a digital product company, digital agency or tech start-up
  • Passion for the Nike brand, the world of sport, and for creating high-quality work
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills and good presentation skills
  • An understanding of digital product development, business objectives and key results
  • A growing understanding of the data and insights that inform design decisions
  • Ability to approach design operations from multiple POVs and listen to users and designers to understand the problem
  • Ability to produce timelines, meeting notes, status reports and prioritized task lists
  • A fascination with innovation and technology and a solid understanding of digital tools and trends
  • Ability to make judgment calls and explain the "why" behind decisions
  • Ability to use the latest project management tools like Asana as well as collaboration tools like Box, Google Suite, Figma and Keynote
  • Familiarity with the agile methodology of project management and an understanding of how to run a sprint
