Responsibilities:

· Develop budgets, forecasts and manage all logistics and distribution expenses to budget for retail, wholesale, and ecommerce

· Oversee freight negotiations and implement cost reduction / containment programs

· Monitor and manage on time, complete shipments per company targets and customer requirements

· Oversee smooth integration of new wholesale partners, including experience with EDI integrations with major retail partners

· Manage 3PL relationship, including ensuring smooth order flow, returns and receipts at our third-party warehouse for the USA and Canada

· Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes

· Oversee inter-company logistics regarding finished goods transfers with Hong Kong/Global Supply Chain

· Oversee order management and customer service to ensure accurate input of orders, accurate pricing, proper customer feedback response and adherence to customer routing requirements

· Strong leadership skills with ability to quickly gain trust and respect across all levels and influence key decision makers

· Systems enhancement/working with Global IT development team

· Strong financial and business acumen

· The ability to work strategically and at a detail-oriented, hands-on level

· Courage to speak frankly and passionately even in the face of adversity with the ability to diplomatically challenge the status quo, set expectations, manage performance and hold individuals accountable for results

· Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure payments are up-to-date

Requirements:

· BS in Business Administration or related field

· Minimum 7 years experience

· Experience within a 3PL logistics environment

· Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred

· Experience in Data Masons EDI software

· Knowledge of Fulfillment Systems

· Proven work experience as a logistics manager

· Record of successful distribution and logistics management

· Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

· Proficient in standard logistics software

· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

· Demonstrated understanding of consumer goods industry

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software

· Apparel/fashion experience strongly desired
