Nike Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Nike shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Nike’s multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike’s diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.
Nike, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Develop Nike departmental plans, including business, production and organizational priorities. Provide leadership to managers, supervisors, and professional staff. Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units. Apply business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives within or across disciplines or departments. Identify and resolve complex technical, operational and organizational problems. Make decisions guided by functional business plans that impact the support and funding of projects, products, services and technologies. Perform work in support of brand plans and integrate company mission into daily work and planning. Lead or participate in key initiatives, programs or products with moderate to wide visibility. Responsible for actions and managing risks that have shared or moderate impact on own business and have limited short-term impact on company assets. Manage resources to ensure financial and operational objectives are met.
Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:
- Product management;
- Project planning technologies, such as, Agile, Scrum, and SDLC;
- Solution architecture and design;
- Project budgeting;
- Resource procurement;
- Financial management;
- SAP ECC;
