E-Commerce Merchandiser

Commando is looking for a candidate to join our growing e-Commerce team! As a Digital Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring a commercial, relevant, and visually strong product assortment. The Digital Merchandiser will use their strong analytical skills, knowledge of fashion, & understanding of user experience to drive sales for wearcommando.com.

Key Areas Of Responsibility

• Leverage data and insights to select & build a product assortment for wearcommando.com that will drive sales in alignment with growth goals
• Manage visual representation & collection organization on wearcommando.com
• Run, manage & create sales reports analyzing inventory performance – drawing insights to fuel marketing/creative, future product development & UX enhancements on wearcommando.com
• Use data to effectively manage stock levels, partnering with Production to react quickly to demand fluctuations.
• Follow, analyze and share shopping & purchase trends of Commando customer & target demographic with broader organization
• Advise and partner with Research & Design to guide future line development using recommendations steeped in results & trend information
• Help to manage in-season business by tracking & analyzing sales information and site metrics-- identifying opportunities to increase product page views, add to cart rates, site conversion and sales
• Partner with Marketing & Brand Merchandising to develop site content in support of product initiatives and strategies
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Follow all ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by the company and the department
• Adhere to Commando’s inventory control procedures

• 5-7 years relevant professional experience in digital retailing & merchandising
• Strategic & analytical mindset, able to draw insights from data & translate into action
• Familiarity with Shopify a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Expertise in fashion & current trends
