Job Description

As an eCommerce Visual Merchandiser with COS North America, you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of fashion in order to maximize sales online. Working alongside the global online visual and marketing teams, you will also be responsible for contributing to seasonal site planning for COS North America ecommerce platforms.

What you will do:

  • Visual merchandising and administrating our website, responsible for ensuring commercial, relevant and visually strong product presentation
  • Ensuring that products are merchandised according to categorization and to a high visual standard, to engage and inspire the customer to shop
  • Optimize the customer offer and contribute to seasonal site planning by analyzing sales trends and local customer behavior and using this information to influence weekly content updates and communication
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to follow up weekly selling and make appropriate actions that influences sales – promoting key lines to maximize sales in each section Ensure that the COS North America e-commerce platform stays in line with COS aesthetics, visually balance the collection of products based on commerciality, branding and seasonal trends
  • Improve the visual merchandising method as well as improve the tools for merchandising and customer analysis
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to suggest product content for all digital channels by adhering to the brief, creative brand guidelines and using an understanding of the collection to ensure all business goals are met
  • Review results of activities with local E-commerce teams and respond to fluctuating needs of the business by effectively translating these visually across the site to ensure best outcome from a brand, sales and customer perspective
  • Work proactively and bring new ideas to constantly improve the shopping experience

Qualifications

About you:

  • Experienced in Visual Merchandiser in a commercial environment
  • Spoken and written language skills: Professional-level English
  • Strong understanding of trends, and fashion and an understanding of the visual impact on selling
  • Customer focused, with the ability to think about targeting a global audience
  • Strong computer skills, with experience of content management systems
  • Flexible, aspiring, motivated, humble, open-minded and a fast learner
