Our Role & Expectations:

  • Develop and present innovative and relevant design concepts clearly and professionally during reviews.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and product teams to ensure designs are practical, within budget, meet market needs, and adhere to timelines.
  • Accurately provide detailed product designs and specifications to enable the creation of prototypes, BOMs, and marketing materials efficiently.
  • Stay ahead by identifying trends in design, materials, and technology across various markets, with a focus on womenswear, through research and hands-on experience.
  • Ensure sample quality, participate in fit reviews, and find cost-saving opportunities during the sample creation phase.
  • Complete projects on schedule, create patterns, prototypes, and explore new design or construction methods.
  • Initiate detailed product design briefs for the development team, covering everything from specs to material choices.
  • Solve fit, style, and construction issues alongside the development and production teams, ensuring product readiness.
  • Keep tech packs updated throughout development, test new materials, and ensure prototyping resources are in place.
  • Understand and apply materials and manufacturing techniques unique to our brand.
  • Contribute to internal presentations and stay informed on industry trends to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Address design changes for current products as needed to solve production challenges.
  • Apply advanced design skills, including ideation, drawing, and understanding of visual presentation.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with experience in PLM systems, ideally Centric.
  • Meet deadlines, manage updates, and maintain records in our product lifecycle management system.
  • Engage in design-related activities outside the office, such as trips and events.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design.
  • At least 5 years of experience in apparel design, with a preference for men's technical and lifestyle apparel.
  • Experience in devising tools and methods for construction solutions.
  • Skills in pattern making and prototyping with a creative and technical approach.
  • An understanding of line planning and product costing.
  • Familiarity with garment construction, patterns, and textiles.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and innovative approach.
  • Strong communication, time management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make informed decisions.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to represent the brand at events and shows.
  • A passion for activities related to our products.
