As a Product Development Assistant, you will play an integral role in our product development process, assisting in the creation and realization of our latest jewelry collections.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product development team to assist in the design, development, and production of fashion jewelry products.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging fashion jewelry trends, materials, and techniques.
- Assist in creating sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for new jewelry designs.
- Source materials and components from suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining relationships.
- Aid in the coordination and organization of product sampling and prototyping, providing feedback for necessary revisions.
- Help maintain accurate records of product development, including specifications, samples, and design iterations.
- Support the quality control process by assisting in inspections to ensure product standards are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market demands to contribute fresh ideas and insights.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.
- Knowledge of jewelry production processes, materials, and techniques is a plus.
- Previous internships or experience in the fashion or jewelry industry is preferred but not required.
