Pei — there’s plenty of natural light, open space with a co-working vibe, an in-building gym, calming yoga and meditation studio and an indoor tree spanning 3 floors.


The Field Visual Manager is responsible for supporting our stores to develop innovative and creative solutions that drives sales supporting brand strategies. They will lead all VM store training, communication, and best practices to drive brand consistency. They will contribute to developing, producing, and updating visual merchandising decks and work collaboratively with key stakeholders. This is a multi-functional position which requires a highly flexible, self-motivated individual with a keen eye for attention to detail. Must be open to travel.


  • Support both Full Price and Off-Price work-streams to impact an aligned consumer journey.
  • Understand and integrate omnichannel marketing strategy to align with in-store experience.
  • Contribute to the evolution of store training and direction to increase clarity and compliance communications.
  • Work closely with the Director of Stores to develop and roll out VM training tools, and videos that can be leveraged to our store teams.
  • Support with the execution of VM instore projects, and initiatives and work cross-functionally and is a team player.
  • Create and maintain documents for special or ongoing projects by creating and updating overview decks including all relevant info, data and developments as needed.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Field Leadership and Corporate Office to identify both short term (Monthly) and long term (Quarterly) store sales opportunities.
  • Facilitate both instructor-led and virtual webinar sessions.
  • Provide seasonal coaching, training, and guidance to support and develop skillset of visual merchandising teams. Has expert product knowledge and training skills.
  • Travel weekly and assess opportunities in stores; reinforce brand best practices and identify and react to opportunities to increase productivity and support ALO’s expansion strategy.
  • Build VM Action Plans that support sales targets to improve customer experience and overall business results. Merchandise to cater towards trend execution & Money mapping goals.
  • Review and validate photos/videos of partner; share results and feedback with the Director of Stores.
  • Understands retail math KPI’s and goals for selected markets, how markets are performing to those goals & has action plans in place to achieve results in areas of influence.
  • Leverage multiple communication vehicles (conference calls, webinars, coaching conversations) to ensure that store teams understand visual direction.
  • Ability to link both VM Corporate and Field Leadership Teams to ensure all Visual Communications content fits the needs of our stores and any future improvements can be captured.
  • Aware of all Share Drive communication, current advertising, promotions, and other marketing initiatives, and providing the appropriate way to communicate to all relevant parties.
  • Submit creative monthly Comp Shop Presentations to drive future innovation concepts in the field.


  • Minimum 3-5 years Visual Merchandising experience in a retail capacity
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Proven ability to ideate and problem solve.
  • Ability to travel as needed for store visits and new store openings.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and have a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing flexibility and persistence as key operational qualities.
