MARINE SERRE is an international brand based in Paris that started to gather international visibility in Spring 2017. The label has proudly remained independent and is today distributed exclusively to around 100 points of sale worldwide (include Dover Street Market, SSENSE, BROWNS, Joyce, Matches Fashion, Galeries Lafayette, BOON).

Overall Marine Serre, as a label, aims to break the way for fundamentally new fashion, not as hype, but coherent across its aesthetic, production, and campaigning.

Marine Serre is looking for a Flou Design Intern to join our energetic and exciting design team during a

6-month internship from September 8th 2022.

As a Flou Design Intern, you will be assisting the Flou Designer in creating designs from the start of the

research until the final product.


● Assisting the flou designer with the day-to-day needs and participating in the development of

the entire creative design process.

● Support the designer with iconographic research, making 3D research on the mannequin,

stitch trials, preparing finishings mock-ups.

● Updating research boards and presentation boards.

● Communicate and work closely with the raw materials and development teams.

● Update technical illustrations and color-ups.

● Collaborating with the pattern maker and designer on creating a cutting plan for all upcycled

materials and print placements.

● Gathering a selection of upcycled materials, distributed per style, for the show sample of the


● Assist the design team in fitting sessions, preparing presentations and setting up meetings.

● Assist the design team in the styling and show preparation week.

Profil recherché

● Available for 6 months

● Experience or main interest in Flou design.

● Pursuing a BA or MA degree program in Fashion Design or Modeliste.

● Knowhow of basics flou technical knowledge is a plus.

● Adobe suite skills are a must, with the ability to use Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to a

high standard.

● Strong interest and motivation to create high-end collections.

● A team player with very good communication skills.

● Being flexible and at the same time structured and organized.

● Fluency in English is required, French is a plus!
