We are looking for a highly skilled Footwear Designer I to join the Men's Studio performance team. In this role, you will create industry-leading innovative footwear designs from concept to reality. We value strong problem solving in providing athletes with performance that is matched with breathtaking iconic designs, with cultural insight, that connects with the consumer.


As a Footwear Designer I, you will build innovative footwear designs that advance the product aesthetic and performance for a targeted consumer! You'll follow the execution of all product details including construction, form, color, materials, style, fit, and performance. You'll actively seek expert mentorship to develop designs with regard to cost/value requirements, manufacturability, sustainability, merchandising, and aesthetic finish. You will also work with factory partners to ensure the execution and manufacturability of your designs.


You will collaborate with the Studio Design Director and Creative Lead to work across multiple teams in the studio performance space. You'll collaborate with design and management teams on innovative footwear concepts from brief to market. You'll connect with members in design, development, product management, costing, and engineering to ensure feasibility of designs while adhering to a product creation timeline. You'll communicate and present design concepts to various internal and external audiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing innovative footwear
  • Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, related to elevating the consumer experience
  • Passion for Sport and Culture
  • Previous footwear design experience preferred.
  • Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills
  • Must be able to create accurate 2D technical drawings (tech pack)
  • Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project
  • Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus
