As our Global Strategic Technical Trainer in Air Manufacturing and Innovation, you'll support the strategy, creation, and execution of training plans that establish understanding, commitment, and adoption of processes, technology, and ultimately behavior! You are capable of supporting programs across multiple functional domains and multiple technologies.


You will create training assets including instructional guides, facilitation decks, and other creative training resources. You will work closely with Leadership, Technical Product Managers, and Change Managers in supporting and building training resources. You will develop user-friendly content meeting audience and organizational standards. You will work within the Technical Product teams to develop training assets throughout the software development lifecycle process.


You will work across different functions at Nike Air MI (including but not limited to: Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Planning) as well as Nike’s Business Development Strategy and Operations Team to land key strategic technical initiatives across the business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • 2-4 years’ proven experience as an effective technical writer
  • Proven track record to quickly learn and understand complex technical topics
  • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
  • Firm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with the agile development methodology
  • Previous software development experience
  • Experience using XML tools to create documentation
  • Ability to work with teammates of all levels including directors, managers, supervisors, engineers, technicians, and machine operators
  • Comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity
  • High proficiency in MS suite and project management tools
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time
