Graphic Artist with 3 years of Production and Vinyl Sign Installation Experience

Job Description:

As a Graphic Artist with at least 3 Years of Installation Experience at Printaway, you will be at the forefront of translating creative concepts into tangible visual experiences. Your role will involve collaborating closely with our design and production teams to create compelling graphic designs, and then bringing them to life through precise and skillful installations. On-site job - must live in Greater Orlando Area.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the design team to conceptualize and design visually appealing graphics for various mediums, including signage, banners, vehicle wraps, trade show displays, and more.

- Utilize your hands-on installation expertise to oversee the installation of graphics both in-house and on client premises.

- Travel to client locations for on-site installations, ensuring quality and accuracy in execution.

- Provide valuable insights and recommendations on materials, installation techniques, and visual enhancements.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their installation needs and ensure their vision is effectively translated into the final product.

- Maintain and organize installation equipment and tools to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

- Stay up to date with industry trends and new techniques in both graphic design and installation.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time, sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)

- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds

- Ability to use a ladder for installations up to 8 feet high

- Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate

Qualifications:

- 3 years of proven experience as a Graphic Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.

- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

- Demonstrated experience in hands-on graphic installation, including familiarity with substrates, adhesives, and installation tools.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites for installations.

- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
