Super Smalls, a digital-first play-centric kid’s brand is seeking a Head of Marketing, with deep experience in E-commerce, an entrepreneurial spirit, luxury product sensibility, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead all marketing aspects of a rapidly growing consumer products brand. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, passionate, creative, performance-driven individual with start-up experience and a strategic mindset. This person will oversee all marketing and branding areas with consumer-facing functions for the brand.  

The Head of Marketing is a key member of the senior management team, making contributions to all heads of business such as the Chief Creative Officer and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and manage marketing strategy for the business across all channels (E-Commerce,  Marketplace, Wholesale and Retail) 
  • Lead the executive conversation around marketing strategy and performance, including opportunities, challenges, and learnings 
  • Understand the kid’s market and its competitors to identify opportunities and pitfalls
  • Set marketing objectives and financial goals to drive revenue growth and audience expansion
  • Own the marketing budget and its strategic investments priorities. Align with overall company wide goals and financials 
  • Establish the marketing team and culture by recruiting and training employees
  • Direct the in-house team, 3rd party service providers, and external agencies on executing marketing strategy 
  • Work closely with the E-commerce team to develop and execute digital marketing activities
  • Manage the digital marketing agency 
  • Set UX development strategy 
  • Manage Marketing teams oversight of Social, Paid, Organic, Content strategies
  • Support the brand’s marketplace and wholesale activities to optimize partnerships and drive successful distribution growth 
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial partners by organizing and developing specific programs 
  • Develop Marketing strategies and guardrails for 3rd party partners for successful cross channel growth 
  • Influence business and product development by determining and evaluating current and future  market trends and market forecasts
